This is a two bedroom bungalow with enclosed secluded tropical garden.The property is fully solar powered**, 230V 50Hz A/C, European sockets and the property has it's own water supply. The cottage consists of a front facing verandah/dining area, living room with TV/DVD and Mini HI-FI, kitchen with refrigerator and gas ring stove, solar-store room, bathroom with sink and shower facility and two bedrooms with double beds.The bungalow is fully furnished to European standard. There are two floor standing fans and garden furniture. All bed linen and towels are supplied, there is a cleaning lady and gardener/watchman who visit on designated days.
There is a car port inside the property gates to keep your car at night, a small jeep may be available for rent, please enquire at booking time.?
There is a fireproof safe available on the premises for use. The bungalow and garden cover approximately 550 square yards and it is surrounded by a 2 metre high wall for complete privacy. Mosquito screens are installed throughout. It is very quiet and peaceful in this area, the village is called Tranquil which has shops, restaurants, bars within 5 minutes walk, the beach is a 10 minute walk. The tourist area is a 10 min taxi ride away. There is a private, well maintained, swimming pool/sunbathing area within 5 mins. walk which can be used by guests at a cost of less than a Dollar a day. This area is full of nature,there are national parks for birdwatching within 2 kilometres. Sport fishing and other amenities are easily arranged. Reliable local guides for sightseeing and adventure in the real Africa can be provided for guests.

** Solar power is provided via the panels when the sun is up during the day, the battery banks are charged also during the day to provide night time A/C power, it is not a limitless supply. i.e. leaving all lights on, fridge, TV's, fans, stereo you will drain the solar system battery power before morning, Guests are advised to conserve the night time energy as advised by the caretaker. Only replace light bulbs with 7-11 watt solar bulbs, using ordinary bulbs 60-100watt will overload the solar system and drain the batteries very quickly. Remember this is Africa not New York, London or Paris where grid power is supplied, if you wish to have similar supplies, please book into the Sheraton 5 star instead. Thanks

Please let me know at booking time when I can email or mail information to you. It's best to pre-book this through me. You will be collected from the house, all tackle,rods and gear provided, boats, guides etc. Inshore, offshore, reef, beach and creek. Return transport provided to house.

There is a weekly service fee of 10 payable to the caretaker when there. This is to cover the gas (petrol) for the generator to pump two full tanks of water per week from the bore hole to the gravity tank. One full tank is adequate for 2 people to shower, cook, wash for approximately 6 days. Requests for extra water will need to be paid for as fuel is expensive.
