This private villa is located in the Northcoast town of Cabarete, "Kite Surfing Capital of the World". The lush grounds surrounding Villa La Perla Negra provide the perfect hideaway where you can rest, read or simply enjoy your surroundings consisting of a plethora of natural beauty from the various, coconut, pear, mango and palm trees, with many other beautiful flowers and plants. The true beauty of your stay at Villa La Perla Negra is that you will feel as if you are miles away from the overbooked, packaged attractions that line the well-worn tourist routes yet you are less than 5 mins away from the world famous Cabarete beach with it's fine shops and gourmet resturants. Your exclusive Villa features a level of personal service and thoughtful amenities found in the finest hotels, yet in the privacy of your personal paradise that is indeed your home away from home.

Villa La Perla Negra is a two story structure which rents in two ways, private and semi-private. Semi-private is one floor Private is total villa (both floors). Each floor has five bedrooms and a lounge with Kitchen. If you rent semi-private you do it with the knowledge that the second floor my be available to a second group for rent. Smoking is allowed only in outside areas of the villa, pool side, balconies. for the comfort of our future guest no smoking is allowed inside of the villa.

Cabarete is funky, fun, and lively. Located on a lovely white-sand beach along an enormous bay, the former fishing village now caters to tourists. Surfers, windsurfers, divers, and party-makers crowd the beaches by day and the bars at night. A "perfect moment" can be had at one of the many beachside restaurants here, enjoying a meal on a warm, tropical night. Good food, good wine, twinkling lights, a cooling sea breeze rustling through the palm trees, lapping waves, your shoes kicked off, and toes dug firmly into the sandit doesn't get much better. Just 15 mins to the town of Sosua and another 25 mins to hstoric Pureto Plata.

Cancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation or change of rental dates, the following is the official policy of Villa La Perla Negra: A cancellation request MUST be made in writing prior to 60 days before arrival date. If Villa La Perla Negra can rent the previously booked cancelled dates to another client, VLPN will issue a credit for a future booking equal to 90% of the amount paid for the original dates booked. This credit will be valid for a period of 360 days from the date of the original booking. However, the official policy is that no credits are available for holiday & special booking dates. During holiday periods, credits may be available if the villa is rented to another client. If the villa is rented to another client during a holiday period, a credit will be issued in the amount of 80% of the amount paid for the original dates booked and this credit shall be valid for a period of 180 days from the date of the original booking. In the event Villa La Perla Negra is unable to rent the originally booked cancelled changed dates to another client, no refund or credit is available during holiday periods and special booking dates.
Deposits: A minimum deposit of 50% of the full rental amount is required at time of reservation. Please make your US dollar check (or international money order) drawn on a U.S. bank or contact us for wire instructions. Venue & Governing Law: This contract shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Dominican Republic and is hereby agreed that any and all claims, disputes or controversies whatsoever arising from, related to, or in connection with this Contract, including any activities on or off said property shall be commenced, filed and litigated, if at all, before a court of competent jurisdiction in the Dominican Republic, to the exclusion of the Courts of any other country, state, city or county.

Last Visit: February 2007 Great for: Singles, Students, Romance, Hip/Trendy Scene, Nightlife I disliked the mosqitos. The rooms and the yard should be fumagated. Maybe cable tv in the bedroom would have made my stay more enjoyable. I know that it was very private but I can stay in a hotel and get plenty of amenities for the price of my stay at La Perla. Privacy is only needed in my room. The drive-in movie screen was great for watching the superbowl but again the mosqitos were unbearable.

Last Visit: August 2006 Great for: Families, Singles, Pool, Romance I thought the service was impeccable, the pool was wonderful. The town was close enough where the night life was. The beach was also nearby. The people in town were very friendly. The rooms at LaPerla were quite comfortable, very airy and light, balconies on every room. When we went it was a party of about 18, all family one way or another and it was the best. We had the Villa to ourselves. It was child friendly, we had babies and toddlers with us. This is a great plalce to take your family.

Last Visit: August 2006 Great for: Families, Singles, Romance, Luxury, Nightlife Myself and 12 family members stayed at Villa LaPerla Negra in August. The place is gorgeous and spacious with large comfortable beds. There is a lush garden that surrounds the pool area. We barbequed some nights and had the private cook prepare meals on other nights. The Villa is approx. 5 minutes from town where shopping and restaurants abound as well as the beach. I can't say enough about the place and I have recommended other family and friends to go there and we will definitely go there again.

They have all you can ask for, maid service, great location, beautiful location (D.R. North Coast) A villa large enough to fit your entire family. I traveled with 15 family members, and we had the time of our lives. Can't wait to go back. A-1 vacation.

Last Visit: February 2007 Great for: Families, Singles, Students, Business, Beds, Pool, Romance, Hip/Trendy Scene, NightlifeI loved the tropical atmosphere and the total privacy. and It was only a couple of minutes from the Ocean Sands Casino and Cabarete beach strip. This is my third time renting La Perla Negra and the service (Marcia, Banesa and Jimmy) is very warm yet professional. They make you feel like family. I'm not a big hotel type, I perfer to enjoy the company of my family and friends in a private setting. The mosquitos are a small issue as on any Island so be sure to bring your repellent. See ya there, I'll be back in June!
