Beautiful home on the ocean with 2 rentals.

The main floor unit has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, living room & deck. Sleeps 5 - 2 each in the bedrooms on queen size beds and 1 on a twin roll-a-way.

The second floor unit has 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 baths, kitchen, living room, 2 balconies & a roof top terrace. Sleeps 5 - 2 in the bedroom on a queen size bed, 2 on a full size roll-a-way and 1 on a twin couch/bed.

We also have a basement bedroom that sleeps 3. The basement has a private entrance, bath, TV with a VCR, 2 fans, a/c unit & 2 couches.plus we have
a small fridge, microwave & hairdryer.

Each of our units are about 1200 sq.ft. & are fully equipped with linens, cooking supplies & dishes, furniture, TVs, cable, VCR, phone for local & incoming calls, stove, fridge, microwave, shared washer & dryer, blender, hair dryer, beach supplies, fans & air conditioning.

Our rental rate includes water, electricity, taxes & local calls.

Our home sits on a 70 x 90 fenced yard on a cliff right on the ocean. Our steps going down to the beach has been repaired. we are a beach house, not the 'ritz'.


We are not in a private resort but in a local safe neighborhood with long term friendly neighbors - in a resort or hotel you may pay $200-$600 a night. If you are fussy, this will not be the rental for you. Our home is for people who want to experience the real Puerto Rico. We have no roosters next door (block away)but we have an occasional dog barking at the moon. There are local pets that come around plus we have our special one 'bambi'.

We work from our home & we are pretty easy to contact. We check our
e-mail 6 times a day. If you do not hear from us we are gone for a couple days.

Dorado is a wonderful town with many fine restaurants, 2 beautiful (and
expensive) hotels, world class golfing & lots of beaches.

Dorado is called the cleanest city in Puerto Rico. We are 20 miles from San Juan & the airport (all highway). We have a central location on the island - not too far from any tourist spot (there are many). You will need a rental car if you stay with us, there is no public transportation - plus this will add to the enjoyment of your vacation. All of the roads in Puerto Rico are good - most are big highways & some toll roads (bring your change). The signs are in Spanish but are easy to read - most people speak English & Spanish so you can be understood. It's all American money - no sales taxes. Prices are reasonable - all the stores that you know & trust are here (Costco, Sams Club, Home Depot, Macys, Sears, JCPenneys, Burger King, Taco Bell, etc.)

The weather is 85 degrees every day! This is a 12 month destination - we love it here!

There are too many tourist attractions to mention. In my packet of information I will give you the tourist company phone number & they will send you out some great books to tell you where to go. we now have free internet access for your
laptop. many people requested this & now we have it. also with our cable tv you
can enjoy hbo.

Security Deposit: $500 per unit
Cleaning Fee: $100 per unit-waived if you clean(laundry too)

We have a 7 day minimum -5 nights if you take both units-


We require a $500 security/damage deposit per unit. You will be mailed this back to you the day you leave after I hear from Norma & Edgar.

There is a $100 cleaning fee per unit if you do not wish to clean. This will be waived if you clean up after yourself (including the laundry) we have a washer & dryer & all of the cleaning supplies at the home to help you. We would rather you come to a clean home & leave a clean home.
no smoking in our home. if you chose to smoke you will lose your entire security
deposit.
we have a phone for local & incoming calls. most people bring their own cel phones
or buy a calling card to make long distance calls.
we have free internet access for your laptop plus a HCR tape library to enjoy.
