Description
Colina de Brisas (Hill of Breezes), is located on a hill above the town of Isabel Segunda on the island of Vieques, Puerto Rico.

This beautiful vacation house overlooks the Fort of Vieques (El Fortin Conde de Mirasol) with sweeping, panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Puerto Rico and the island of Culebra.

The property sits on almost an acre of land with plenty of tropical fruits, trees and plants. There is a flat area on the East side of the property where you will find aloe plants, coconut, calabash (gourd) and grapefruit trees. On the West side of the property you will find more tropical plants, mango trees, pineapple plants and hidden away, a hammock for relaxing in the shade. Feel free to pick some mangos or pineapples to go with your meal or just relax in the hammock.

The living room has a TV with a DVD/VCR player. There is a library of movies for you to choose from as well as books and games to enjoy when you return in the evening.

Each room in the house has a ceiling fan to take full advantage of the tropical hillside breezes and is also fully air conditioned for those days the breezes are blowing.

Colina de Brisas has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths and sleeps up to 7 adults comfortably. The master bedroom has a king size bed and large private bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed and shares the second full bathroom with the third bedroom which has a full size and one twin bed.

The large kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and range, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and needed kitchenware. Make yourself at home and try your hand at cooking a real Puerto Rican dinner from one of our cookbooks.

Come and enjoy the verandah, especially in the evenings, and let the trade winds carry away all your worries. Sit at one of the tables on the verandah and enjoy the view of the fort at night or watch the late ferry arrive from Puerto Rico. Listen to all of the nightlife and see if you can hear the "co-qui" frogs.

Testimonials
This house was the perfect fit for my friends' and my stay in Vieques. The house was very open and clean and the view was AMAZING. We enjoyed bbq's while looking over the ocean and Isabel II, and ate breakfast on the wrap-around porch. The place gets a lot of light, but as the name implies, it also gets beautiful breezes from the many windows surrounding the house. The owner and the property manager were very helpful and provided us with an information packet about Vieques and the house before we even arrived. I was originally looking for a place to stay on the Esperanza side of the Island, but now that I've been to Vieques I would do everything the same way again.

We've been to Vieques many times and stayed at one of the luxury hotel. However, our visit this time and accomodation at Colina De Brisas was the most memorable and amazing vacation we had with our family and friends. The property is very comfortable, has all the amenities you will need if you are looking for a place like home. Our 75 yr old grandma loved the place and would like to stay longer. She enjoyed the scenery and the mango, papaya, banana, guava trees right at the front of the premises. We will definitely come back and stay at Colina De Brisas and will highly recommend. Thanks to the owner, Renee who is very helpfull and accomodating to our needs. Our visit at Vieques was memorable to all!

"Hello. Thank you so much for the option of staying at this cozy, yummy house! We loved the veranda and open areas. It is a great location and we enjoyed our stay immensely! The view is wonderful. And it is a terrific setup if you have a little one! It made the trip even better."
