Casa Brava 1 is the first floor studio apartment of a new artist designed and built house located along the Rio Cuale just steps from Liz Taylor's former home, a 6 minute walk to the plaza, galleries, malecon (boardwalk), the market and the town center, and a 20 minute walk to Vallarta's most popular beach, Los Muertos, offering authentic Mexican pueblo living in a bustling fishing village/beach town. Designed and built by the artist, Casa Brava is a new house with all the modern amenities created in traditional Mexican style. Vallarta has an active art scene, art walks and studio tours. Owner has her studio on third floor of Casa Brava, open to visitors.
Many short trips to other villages, ie. a 30 minute boat ride to the indigenous community of Yelapa, bus trips to typical non tourist villages ie. Talpa, El Tuito.
Rodeos, bullrings, cock fights and fiestas. Dancing in plaza Sundays, open air concerts on the weekends, sunday night walks along the malecon with street performances.
