From this comfortable one bedroom, one bath, living room and very spacious kitchen, you have a 360 degree view of the Sea of Cortez, cactus covered desert and magnificent mountains. All the rooms have wonderful views, even the bathroom. It has with a large Mexican tiled shower. There are front and back shaded porches for your relaxation. The front deck faces the water, fountain and lushly gardened courtyard. From the large back deck you see the desert, the might Laguna Mountains. Off in the distance, a little to the right, you see the shore line and the towns of Los Barriles and Buena Vista. At dusk, the sunsets light up the horizon with a multicolored light show. As night falls, the town lights and a canopy of stars twinkle like diamonds. Where ever you look is a picture that will stay in your memory forever.

The private courtyard, the fountain splashing, birds chirping in the garden, shading palm trees and the azure blue waters of the Sea of Cortez, all set the mood for a relaxing and tranquil stay at Casa Verde.

The Guest House is completely furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, A/C and ceiling fans throughout. Spectacular 360 degree views. A enchanting view from every room, even the bathroom.
Casa Verde is on the beach. Birds, such as pelicans, sea eagles, buzzards and numerous other species, glide by, many times at eye level. The water is alive with fish and bird activity. It makes for enjoyable viewing.

Some of the best fishing in the world is just out the door. Charter boats are available in the area.

ATV's can be rented in the nearby town of Los Barriles at Amigos ATV Rentals. With a call, they will deliver and pickup at the front gate. There are miles and miles of beach and back roads to ride. Heading up a few of the arroyos is fun.

Shopping and good restaurants, especially great taco stands, are in the nearby towns. The bigger towns of La Paz, San Jose and Cabo San Lucus are an 1 hour to and 1 hour and 45 minutes drive from the casa.

Bird and wildlife watching is very rewarding. A walk on the beach can result in good shelling and interesting drift wood collecting.

A refreshing hike to the top of Flat Top Mt. is a good way to start the day. It's the flat topped hill just to the south. After following the well defined trail to the top, you will be rewarded with an awesome view of the surrounding country and the coastline. It's best to go early morning on hot days.
