Our condo is located in a gorgeous beachfront resort, right on the sand of one of the best beaches for swimming and surfing in southern California. This gated resort is situated on 17 beachfront acres, beautifully landscaped with tropical flowers and trees, with two swimming pools, two spas, meandering streams, waterfalls, a koi pond, putting green, outdoor summer kitchen/BBQ with outdoor picnic area, fitness center, and billiards rooms. Nestled between the Oceanside Harbor and the Oceanside Pier, it's a short walk to quaint shops, restaurants, the cinema, ice cream shop, boat and jet ski rentals, fishing charters and/or whale watching excursions.

Our condo is a spacious, two-story penthouse unit with 1180 sq ft for you and your family to spread out. You won't miss any of the comforts of home because your condo will be fully furnished with everything you could possibly want for comfort and convenience. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to go with all appliances - stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator (with ice & water dispenser on door), dishwasher, garbage disposal, coffee maker, toaster, blender and a milkshake maker. There's a generous selection of high quality cooking and eating utensils for those who want to prepare home cooked meals, and the cook will find a few kitchen staples also provided such as kitchen towels & wash cloths, Cascade dishwasher detergent, trash bags, paper towels, laundry soap, aluminum foil, and liquid dishwashing soap.

Each of the 2 bedrooms is a master suite with private bath, huge closets, telephone, remote control TV, alarm clock and balcony or/roof deck. The layout of the unit provides for maximum privacy with one bedroom suite located on the lower level and the second suite located on the upper level. The upper level bedroom suite contains 2 queen size beds and a roof deck with beach view. The lower level bedroom suite contains one king size bed and a balcony with view of San Luis Rey River and city view. There is a futon in the front room that opens up into a full size bed for additional sleeping room. After a hard day at the beach you'll find the beds very inviting - made with comfy sheets and blankets and loaded with big fluffy pillows - a total of 14 king and queen size pillows altogether in the unit - and not those little flat pillows like the ones you find in hotels! The bathrooms contain bath towels, face towels & wash cloths, bath soaps, hand soaps, and hair dryers.

Along with the furnishings already mentioned, you'll find a total of three 27" color TVs in this unit, upgraded digital cable (includes ALL the premium channels - HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, The Movie Channel - a total of over 900 channels), digital cable modem for high speed internet access, VCR, DVD, a video library with approximately 40 newly released movies, a total of three telephones, answering machine, CD stereo, a gas-log fireplace with remote control thermostat & ignition, an iron & ironing board, portable canvas beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, and an umbrella table with chairs on the roof deck for enjoying the beach view.

Our little beach community is secure, private, and family friendly. It's completely gated and has 24 hour security to ensure that all guests enjoy the beautiful environment without annoyance or interference. A laundry facility is available on the first floor of our building, and each rental comes with free parking in a reserved space in the parking garage. You could leave your car parked in the garage and spend your time relaxing on the beach, surfing, swimming in the ocean, sunbathing or swimming in the pool, cooking steaks on the grill, feeding the fish in the koi pond, working out in the fitness center or strolling around the grounds admiring the exotic tropical plants. Walking adventures outside the resort could include a walk to the Pier, exploring the shops and restaurants at the Marina, or checking out the fresh produce and flowers at the Oceanside Farmers Market. There's enough in the immediate area to keep you and your family occupied for days, but you're also close to many popular attractions.

Oceanside is 30 minutes north of San Diego and 60 minutes south of Los Angeles. It's a short 10 minute drive to the Lego Land amusement park or the Flower Fields in Carlsbad, or to the San Luis Rey Mission in Oceanside. Most of southern California's most popular attractions are within a comfortable driving distance. The San Diego Zoo, San Diego Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Old Town San Diego, Balboa Park, Del Mar, La Jolla, Coronado, and the ferry to Catalina Island are all within a half hour drive. Disney Land, Universal Studios, Knott's Berry Farm, Hollywood, the wineries of Temecula, and Tijuana, Mexico are all within a 60 - 90 minute drive.
