Lovely cabin on beautiful, 2-acre mixed pine & hardwood hammock, overlooking the Sopchoppy River. Perfect for kayaking, canoeing, biking, fishing or just "being." House is 750 square feet, 3 years old. Heart pine floors, cypress trim, lots of windows, cathedral ceilings, large picture window overlooking river. Eight foot deck borders two sides, facing river. Fully furnished. Deer, rabbit, racoon, owl and hawk plentiful. Very quiet and peaceful. Bordered by Wakulla National Forest.

Quaint, small town offers grocery store, botanical shop, tackle store, gourmet pizza shop, gourmet coffee shop, cafe (& recording studio), book store, gift store and seafood restaurant. Fresh gulf seafood available in abundant supply within 20 minutes. Home of the Sopchoppy Opry (country and bluegrass) and the Worm Gruntin' Festival. Considered an artist and outdoorsman's paradise.

Testimonials
Only friends have stayed in my cabin for short periods. Everyone who visits wants to know if I'm selling. It's really a beautiful place, full of a special energy that's hard to describe.

Miscellaneous Information
The property is naturally "cleared" by the presence of tall pines sprinkled throughout a hammock of dogwood, hickory, oak, magnolia, cherry, sparkleberry and cedar. Natural drive lined by dogwoods leads to cabin set back 250' from gravel road (Deer Run Court, which is a dead end - no through traffic). Cabin faces Southwest, receiving afternoon sun on river side of cabin (large picture window, 8' X 11', faces river from main room), with a beautiful view of the sunset over the trees in late evening.

There are two bikes available on site for leisurely rides down any of the charming country roads nearby. It's a perfect area for walking and star gazing. Neighbors are quiet and few, and two nearby fields allow a great view of the heavens at night. It's a great place to bring canine friends, but beware, as you might not be able to get them to leave. Deer can be seen daily at dusk or later, as you walk in the evening or late at night (hence the name, Deer Run Court). You'll also see lots of rabbit, hawk, owl, pileated woodpecker and many migratory birds.

There's access to the river for kayaking and canoeing from a variety of input points, allowing for 1/2 or full day trips. There's a kayak/canoe rental store within a ten minute drive. Access to saltwater fishing is 20 minutes away. The Ocholocknee River and State Park is fifteen minutes away. The Bradwell Bay of the Wakulla National Forest offers wilderness camping and hiking for those who want to explore the routes less travelled.

For those who want internet connectivity as well as the peace of the woods, a computer is available with flat panel display, DVD and recordable CD drives, word processing, desktop publishing software, printer and internet access.
